reckoning
if someone drinks at every show, it does not mean he or she has an alcohol issue. Even if someone has one drink a night, it does not make them an alcoholic. Alcohol does cloud kundalini energy or any other form of our own inherent energy flow, but it does not mean drinking is bad. Alcoholism is bad. Any addiction is bad. However, be very careful not to cast judgments, as being judgmental will also cloud energy flow. Additionally, anyone can get date-raped or roofied, it does not require alcohol.
Advisory Board Herdygerdy Posted December 8, 2012 Advisory Board Report Share Posted December 8, 2012 The man lost his career and was humiliated on national TV ( Jay Leno, et al). No more needs to be said! Let's not forget that I was one of the few people that got pee'd on.... that was NOT a fun experience.. I was peaking off some seriously good L, and let me just say, what when I realized what was going on, and why I was soaked, it did not make my trip any funner... ducats
Hahaha pee pee!?!?! Glad to know we always make it back to our true lower chakra priorities hehehe My corporate lawyer brother always said he didn't trust me cause I don't drink enough.... I am stoked I never got date raped or forced myself on anyone which is the SAS story of most women I know w alcohol issues.... Addiction is scary whether its alcohol, sex, drugs or music.... Our scene is made of all the pieces and I love every single one and enjoy seeing all of our states of progress and debauchery align in frenzied heavenly flailing. Let's go! and all this time i thought you were a guy

Taper Ron
That sucks Herdy - Pissed On AND Pissed Off. Personally I'd rather be pissed on than puked on, and I have experienced both. Both the outcome of over indulgence.

Forum MVP comesatime Posted December 9, 2012 Forum MVP Report Share Posted December 9, 2012 Personally, I think the ideal situation is having alcohol allowed at shows but off the dance floor. If you go to the right places, that will naturally happen. Because of the mindset of the crowd. I saw Bruce Springsteen at the Honda Center last week and no alcohol , food or soft drinks allowed on the GA floor ... the show was awesome and the dance floor was nice and dry ... I don't know how this would be done in the smaller clubs that make their night on alcohol sales but it worked really well at that big venue !!! Forum MVP bs69 Posted December 12, 2012 Forum MVP Report Share Posted December 12, 2012 For a lot of folks, myself included, going to the shows is a night out away from the kids. I absolutely prefer to have a venue that serves alcohol. However, I have learned over the years that the restrooms at a lot of venues are the best deterrent to heavy drinking. Agreed a night away from kiddos is great especially a night with dso...as an added bonus my wife is now all in...she went to her first show in springfield last summer followed by the jubilee and she can't wait till newport...neither of us drink ..I love my 420 tho so when we get away to a show and to be able to have a couple captains for myself n a couple beers for her is great.. Keep it flowing

Keep it flowing The Newport is a prime example of "restroom as deterrent" to heavy drinking!
