For example I use winamp, which plays most music file formats, instead of itunes. Also winamp has some very trippy visualizers so I like using that one more. I use winamp for flac files on my comp. I dont know if it plays the older shn files. My amp plays flac files off a USB drive so I just convert the shn to flac and play through it usually.
