Unfortunately it doesn't look like I'll be able to visit my alma mater and the place of my first DSO show, WPUNJ.

I should be able to make penns peak, at least one best buy show, Northampton, Wallingford, Lowell, Lebanon, and Albany. Hope to see many of you there. Very excited.

I'm working on it. I don't ask for much, I only want love, but you know it don't come easy...

oh, chuckie. what would this forum be without your lyrical, humble, and ennui-laden contributions? also, i was planning on giving you a call tomorrow -- call me instead if i forget?

oh, and tour-wise, i expect to get to some new england venues in the next few months. thinking northampton, lebanon, albany, wallingford, and lowell.

happy friday, all.

love from lala*

As a Buffalo native. I'd be totally down for a pre-show meet, although I understand how I'm a new head to the forums and it sounds like some of you guys have been family for some time. I have a place I live in with a bunch of other college kids we're young heads, but we really love the music. If anyone needs a place to stay any night of Buffalo/Toronto you are welcome to, and I do have an extra/unclaimed ticket for Toronto that I'm willing to give to any cool heads.

Edit: Also my house is a short walk from the subway line, which takes you down to the venue (Town Ballroom).

Hey Mike, no need to belittle being a youngster(ish) in the crowd...after all, it's the big range of ages that makes the GD (and DSO) community WHOLE. And it's the kindness and generosity (which you already project) that keeps it REAL. The different ages of people who love this music have a lot to offer each other and help one another gain a different and unique perspective. People like yourself who perhaps are too young to have seen Jerry play live but are fully embracing this music as their own just make the whole thing really affirming that we are all on the right track. And besides all that, you'll be in the 'touch of grey' crowd before you know it because time really does fly when you are having FUN!

:)

Thank you! I'm glad the older deadheads seem to have respect for some of the young ones. I know a lot of other young people who kind of lose their shit at shows, in the bad kind of way, and I didn't know if there was any sort of stigma to the younger generation of deadheads. Yeah the music totally keeps us together and it is amazing how it has transcended through time so well. What do you mean by "you'll be in the 'touch of grey' crowd before you know it?"

I think he was referring to the greying of the hair as opposed to suggesting you were a 'Touch Head'. From your posts you don't seem to be a fair-weather/bandwagon GD fan. Have a blast!
