ripplinrain
10:32 this morning he passed away to join the angels in heaven. He turned 14 on May 1st.Truly a great friend and the world is definitely a little colder without him here.Had the worst case of hip dysplasia my doc has ever seen, never stopped him.In fact through this month ordeal of dealing with bone cancer {worst place his skull} he never once complained of pain.#;30 this morning he finally got angry enough to bark about him not being able to get up.He's so determined and this fact probably did the most to have him succumb to.Never once did he complain about the pain from the cancer.2Diagnosed a month ago but was mobile up to 3 days ago.I held him in my arms all week and I do mean 24/7 literally.I miss him so much.Once again thank you to the band for the springfield cassidy and ripple.Still havent seen a tape of it to show up on archive..Would love to listen to it againHopefully Mr eaton will release this one.Mr. puppy and I were able to hear the song but not the deadication from the band relayed via Mr. Barrocco. Finally Mr. puppy thanks you for the whole salami Lisa gave him it was well enjoyed. franknkeene
Thank you Ripple for sharing your grief with our relatively speaking, small community of online Star-heads (yet still very public). You are a man of honesty, courage, and T*R*U*S*T. I offer this from the poet during your time now. He is speaking of friendship. May it bring you comfort now and throughout the journey of being with your loss. Advisory Board Herdygerdy Posted August 6, 2012 Advisory Board Report Share Posted August 6, 2012 My friend, the pain will go away at some point, but from experience, it'll never quite go away totally. I lost my best friend, Jackson, a few years back, and I still miss him soooo much! Just talking about this is making my eyes water, thinking about all the best times I had with my dog. To this day, I still can't get up enough want for another dog. I've thought about it for the past few years, but the pain and emotional anquish that I experienced losing Jackson, makes me not want to get another dog, as I don't think I could take losing another best friend. My heart goes out to you my friend. May the four winds blow Mr. :Puppy safely home...

maningreen
"Give A Hoot Don't Pollute"- I simply called him Hoot. 15 yrs by my side. Been there and it is the worst. So sorry for your loss. Heardy is right. It gets a little easier over time. Specially since he was in pain and it was his time. Remember the "Rainbow Bridge".
