Forum MVP Mango Posted July 26, 2012 Forum MVP Report Share Posted July 26, 2012 well that's cool that DSO is making their Canada debut but wtf, Philly gets the shaft? I don't get it...all I can say is I hope ya'll play the Efactory for NYE run again. Of course I don't live there anymore anyway...

Forum MVP Tea Posted July 26, 2012 Forum MVP Report Share Posted July 26, 2012 Way to go 'eh! Toronto is a beauty way to go 'eh? Let's hope there are fewer talkers up north. Houser!
Forum MVP Mango Posted July 26, 2012 Forum MVP Report Share Posted July 26, 2012 Last I remember, it was something like "F the East coast..." Just sayin... .... ...... hey, nothing's changed, just looking out for my brothers and sisters back home. Philly draws a way better crowd than jersey, ny, or anywhere else in the ne short of Penn's Peak.
Forum MVP chuckvegas Posted July 26, 2012 Forum MVP Report Share Posted July 26, 2012 Happy for ya, Bones! I know it has been a long time coming! Mango, I know it is probably technically more mid-Atlantic than northeast, but deep down inside I know you share than special feeling so many have for the 9:30 too. A 2-nite @ the 9:30 run just for Mango. The band knows how much he loves to have extra space to dance.
Forum MVP found Posted July 26, 2012 Forum MVP Report Share Posted July 26, 2012 Jersey crowd is way better than Philly and you know it mango. Everytime we leave a Philly show you always say, "eh, that was a weird crowd." jersey has some drunk talkers but nothing compares to NYC. The worst. Penns peak is definitely the best venue and crowd in the NE. I actually haven't had a bad experience at the 9:30. I'll definitely do the two night stand. I'm just extremely excited to get back in the saddle. Life's been very busy for me lately but I'm ready for copious amounts of Dso.
Forum MVP Mango Posted July 26, 2012 Forum MVP Report Share Posted July 26, 2012 I don't recall leaving the last Efactory show complaining....we had quite a bit of fun and i was digging how into it the crowd was. Jersey sucks sweaty balls. And don't think I can't make do in shitholes like the 930 club...done it before and likely will do it again. It's all part of the game. ShaggyDH
Greetings All Patrons of the DSO!! I have an inquiring to make...how does one go about making a setlist request for the DSO inaugural Toronto show? It would be most blessed if we received a Kingswood 84, 87 or Seneca College 77!!! Forum MVP gr8fulpair Posted November 8, 2012 Forum MVP Report Share Posted November 8, 2012 While you certainly propose some shows that would light up any crowd I believe that Rob E. very carefully plans out each tour in advance and takes many factors into consideration to make the experience memorable for those in the host city AND those touring along with the band. My guess is that whatever the band plays you will find just exactly perfect. Have a blast, hoser......

Forum MVP Evangeline Posted November 15, 2012 Forum MVP Report Share Posted November 15, 2012 The venue web site says 7 PM, but that could just be doors. Here is the link: http://embracepresents.com/event/darkstar-orchestra/
Forum MVP Tea Posted November 15, 2012 Forum MVP Report Share Posted November 15, 2012 Just found the actual venue's site http://www.theoperahousetoronto.com/calendar.php Evangeline is right. 7pm DOORS.
Cosmic Mike
From calling the venue and listening to their answering machine, I got that doors are 7pm, so I imagine 8pm is when the show actually starts. Also I'll be wearing the same t-shirt in my profile picture and an orange hat tonight, so if you happen to see me stop me and say "hi."
