Free show and farmers market in Cloverdale, CA. REAL fun time. I really dig how the band is sounding with Dave Hebert, they seem to be having so much fun up there. I love his facial expressions and body contortions, he seems like a generally good natured dude.

Definitely agree with you concerning what Dave Hebert brings to JGB. We saw them twice at Gratefulfest, and were really happy with the direction the band has taken since he took over on lead guitar (not to detract from Stu Allen's work in any way.) Hebert was also very accessible after their performances and hung out in the crowd, watching the next couple acts.

On a side note, has anyone heard who will be stepping in on bass?

Thanks! The cosmic balance has been restored; peace will guide the planets and love will steer the stars...

all because of some DSO forum action. I always knew my dedication here would pay off :P

I also agree! I hadn't seen JGB for quite a while and saw Hebert for the first time with them for a very SOLID 2.5 hr set on 7/15 to close the mainstage at the Oregon Country Fair this year. Hebert kicks ass and the whole band was very tight all the way through... Was great times dancing in the summer sunshine. The set list is fading but they played the following (not necessarily in this order and I'm probably forgetting a couple):

Cats Under the Stars

Evangeline

And it Stoned Me

Rhapsody in Red

Mighty High

That's What Love Will Make You do

Money Honey

Gomorrah

Sisters & Brothers

E: Shakedown, Dancin' in the Streets, Deal

What a blast!
