Mish Show Moved; DSO Stages Benefit

Posted on: June 22, 2012

While we all send good vibes out to the people affected by the fires in Colorado, DSO has moved its June 29 show – originally scheduled for the Mishawaka Amphitheatre in the impacted area of Bellvue, CO – to Longmont, CO in order to partner with Left Hand Brewing Company and Shaped Music on a benefit to raise money for local agencies fighting the fires and offering relief to displaced residents. Dark Star & Cold Brews will take place June 29, the same night of the originally schedule Mish show, at the Left Hand Brewing Company at 1265 Boston Avenue, with all profit from tickets, beer, food and merch going to the Rist Canyon Volunteer Fire Department and the Northern Colorado Chapter of the Red Cross. You can get tickets here until 8 a.m. June 29th, after which tickets will only be sold at the door. Tickets previously purchased for the Mishawaka Amphitheatre will be honored at this show or can be returned to point of purchase. Internet and phone order purchasers will need to send an email to info@themishawaka.com. Check out the Tour Page for more info, plus all the dates on the Meet Me At The Jubilee Summer Tour 2012, along with ticket info for all shows.

So glad the show will still be on and even more so that the band and LHB have decided to have the proceeds go to RC VFD and NCRC! Great, heartfelt stuff guys!

From the Bellvue, CO thread:

Plan B is the option at this point... Official announcement tomorrow. Tickets will be honored and proceeds will go to the Red Cross and Fire victims. It will be held at a brewery parking lot in Longmont CO and will be all ages starting earlier at 7pm... It's going to be a community fund fairer and benefit for the less fortunate from this historic fire. As a colorado resident I have great sadness because it could just as easily be me in their situation. Even though there will be refunds available I would hope that the community would rally behind this event to help the victims and help Colorado as a whole...

Peace
