Yes, we'll have to wait and see what happens, here is the press release from the Mish:

http://themishawaka.com/assets/file/doc/High%20Park%20Fire%20Press%20Final.pdf

Due to the effects of the High Park Fire, Mishawaka Amphitheatre is canceling all concert events through June 22. The cancelled concert events were scheduled for Friday June 15 - 7 Walkers with Pimps of Joytime, Saturday June 16 - Motet with Dubskin, Sunday June 17 – Richard Thompson and Friday June 22 – Bruce Hornsby. Conditions permitting, the Amphitheatre will reopen Friday June 29 for Dark Star Orchestra.

The Mishawaka property is currently safe, however Highway 14 remains closed between Ted's Place and Walden. Evacuation orders are still standing for Mishawaka's location on Poudre Canyon Highway. Large gatherings in Poudre Canyon are deemed ill-advised for the time being.

Mishawaka is eager to resume business as soon as it's safe to do so. Once the evacuation order is lifted and Highway 14 reopens, Mishawaka staff will take immediate action to reopen the restaurant and bar. GM Dani Grant says...'Mishawaka is an important community gathering place. We want to open the doors as soon as we can to offer our distressed neighbors a place where they can gather and grab a bite. Furthermore, we want to put our 50 plus employees back to work, not to mention the many contractors who depend on our business.”

The support from Mishawaka's fans and friends has been immensely positive. There's no doubt that the High Park Fire has presented a clear threat to Mishawaka. The fire line surrounds the property to the south, east and west. “Call it what you will...wishes, vibes, or positive energy...the messages sent to us by thousands of supporters...appears to be making a difference,” says Grant. “Though we're immensely grateful that Mishawaka is still standing...our thoughts and compassion go out to all our friends and neighbors who the fire did not spare.”

Projected economic impact of the High Park Fire on Mishawaka business: Mishawaka's daily operations have been closed since Sunday June 10 resulting in the loss of all perishable food inventory. Hourly wages, food and beverage orders, concert production contracts and shuttle service providers' losses total approximately $45,000 per week.

All ticket purchases and shuttle reservations will be automatically refunded for cancelled events.

I would Love it if the Mish were to open on the 29th but I would be very surprised if it is... Holding out hope but the chance of them allowing hundreds of people into that canyon in 10 days is slim at best in my personsl opinion. The firefighter friends of mine say its impossible with the size and strength of this fire. We will play someplace that night regardless. Our thoughts are with the residents of North Western Colorado...and of course Mishawaka.....

Two at State Bridge would be nice since it's soooo beautiful there and after making the drive it would be great to settle in for a two day celebration. DSO played a mind boggling show there last year, hitting all the high spots of the catalog.. Two shows of this caliber might push some of us over the ledge?

Plan B is the option at this point... Official announcement tomorrow. Tickets will be honored and proceeds will go to the Red Cross and Fire victims. It will be held at a brewery parking lot in Longmont CO and will be all ages starting earlier at 7pm... It's going to be a community fund fairer and benefit for the less fortunate from this historic fire. As a colorado resident I have great sadness because it could just as easily be me in their situation. Even though there will be refunds available I would hope that the community would rally behind this event to help the victims and help Colorado as a whole...

Peace
