Forum MVP comesatime Posted May 19, 2012 Forum MVP Report Share Posted May 19, 2012 AM BORROWING THIS ACCOUNT TO POST THIS, OKAY? IS NOT A RELATIVE ACCOUNT. Am a friend of the beautiful person that owns it only. I DO NOT HAVE MY OWN. THE PERSON WHO HAS THIS ACCOUNT DID TAPE AND HAS POSTED this show. Get through the first minute of talking and you're home-free. AGAIN DO NOT HOLLER AT THE ACCOUNT HOLDER. WE ARE NOT RELATED AND THEY ARE A BODHISATTVA WHEREAS I AM A NOBODY. HOLA TO EVERYONE FROM A NOBODY. DO NOT SHOUT AT THE OWNER OF THIS ACCOUNT. I USED IT WITHOUT PERMISSION. THE OWNER OF THIS ACCOUNT IS AN ANGEL AND TO HOLLER AT THAT ONE WOULD BE PLAIN WRONG AS THAT ONE IS A GREAT PERSON AKIN TO A BUDDHA. I AM JUST ONE MUNDANE PERSON MISSING JERRY TERRIBLY. THAT IS ALL SO TALK AMONGST YOURSELVES OR LET IT GO.... AM JUST ONE PERSON AFTER ALL. DOUBT THE BAND WILL MISS MY TICKET SALE. this account should be deleted and the ip address should be blocked ... just thinking out-loud
TheOtherChosenOne
Hey again. Just because you see poison Ivy does not mean you should roll in it.... someone can have a run of 3 "off" shows and post without a crucifixion, I hoped. Yes, by all means cancel my IP for sure and keep thinking out loud, Bix, you are wicked good at it. Not sure who any of the rest of you are by login so will reply vaguely to Mangosteen (I truly dig you a lot) and then real general and then won't post again, okay? So we drank lots of Mangosteen in India. Has more nutrients, vitamins, minerals, and rare elements than any other fruit of the region. As to who I am, my name is "on the back of my shirt"..... not as many varied elements to the regular crowd as there is in the fruit...so not tough to decipher. Why does it matter? Some of the subject matter begs a veil, does it not? I decided to post primarily because everyone was going on and on about talkers..... over-shot my point a bit but maybe can back-pedal to it just a bit: if the band starts playing at 7:30 in Alexandria on a Wed. night, for a cheap ticket price, and there is nothing psycho-dynamic available to them, don't you think you it will continually invite the after-work drinking crowd..... and then everyone bitches about the excessive talking going on. Look, some people have jobs, get off work, and go to a show to socialize..... to many, this is not an experience at the pulpit like it is for you or me. The heads should step up on set and setting, period. Make sure the people get their exorcisms and are in a state of mind appropriate to what is being played. Otherwise, the band turns into a lounge act and it is embarrassing for me personally to be there. Consider this..... there are ways to bring the loud and happy in their cups crowd around but you must distract them like small children and refocus them on the band. Is really easy and fun to do but sadly, on this night, the band was so resorted to just playing through it and significantly low on energetic offering at all that there was nothing to connect with when I pointed. No joy and they fell back in their cups. And as to the word "spun"... that's a kind-er?-gartner insult. Really? I sat there with you in a garage willing to "give what love I have to give" and you bailed out. Basically told a friend of Brent's that you were going to the real experience by seeing DSO next night whereas he was missing out on the real grateful dead for going to see Billy drum. Really? You love DSO as much as anyone ever could. You do so much for them. You keep everyone in the loop about what is going on and you work hard on that... probably pulling Ace Cubby's from time to time to get that posted but wow.....spun? You realize I have a life, right? A career? That I see DSO as much for fun as to enjoy a traditional GD experience. My hope is that the band appreciates your effort for them. Generally, I would say from comments that you all freaking love this band. That's good. i hope they appreciate it. I mean absolutely nothing to the band and am one person simply saying that be it karma or chance or bad luck or maybe a trend, I have been hitting shows that are not fun for me to be at the way I like to be at a show.... lately. I think it is super cool that Rob B replied on the sound concerns I stated. The place is a little flat and small. I just never found a sweet spot is all. But I like the venue fine, liked the set fine until the encore, but little things bother me a lot now.... one of which is not talkers. One of which is "be careful of the po-po".... really? Seriously. Sure. Let me risk my life with drunk drivers and nitrous headaches to drive out of this place tonight and yes, watch for cops. You know, when Jerry was alive EVERYONE has a safe spot to get to should they chose, EVERYONE had a ways and means to stay on tour should they chose, AND REALLY, TONS of TALKING BUT NO TALKERS..... why, I wonder? Why was he revered so? Go listen and watch what others saw firsthand. Am elitist and been very busy at work and caught only a few things here and there while working back here in the last month Mickey to Mickey to Mickey to Mickey to John K to Keller and gotta say, for me personally, at this point, I don't give a flying fuck how technical or advanced or precise or skilled one is.... is the energy that really makes me happy.... that is what I find happiness in. To see the faces around me alive and cheery and smiling. And maybe everyone is supremely happy..... seemed much happier next night.... but I for one would be happier to double my ticket price and have a really super happy band playing rather than this sinking feeling I get that some of you want to go home. You can have both, of course. 4 the band: But these comments like "Life is Not So Bad" and (excuse my long delay) that a drummer's show "Was NOT AT ALL CHEESY"...... wtf? You make a living, support a family from that great man's innovations and the most you can say is that his show was not cheesy..... really? He spends his time in the lab of mind and in space, an unbelievable innovator, and sorting out the origins of the universe to the hissing sound of a B flat note 50-some octaves below a piano's middle C..... and quite frankly you should be prostrate or at least make haste and appear in the audience at one of Mr. Berry's shows. i never see you there and is hardly a jog for me to make. But all that said, I have flat out run or flown or sped to catch your shows and you guys do play great.... just not the greatest to MY EARS since dawn of 2012. Maybe Lisa can break up the talkers by singing Opera..... like Joan Baez does in "Don't Look Back"..... I bet that will work. Then just capture them with your energy. I could see you were internalizing a lot and not opening up to receive anything or exchange.... that is not the GD experience. Put on silly hats or pop balloons or point to the back of the room, look terrified, stand up and say something fucking crazy OR maybe trip your audience and get everyone in a good, fresh, learning state of mind. Spun or wrung, I can see it Mr. Fruit Juice. Just was the last straw is all.... sure it is just me. The rest of you are all good. Obviously it is just my freakish thing. Won't post again. Enjoy all the shows. Of course they will be good.... really good. I just expect a lot out of this band as I have seen them on the brink of crazy crazy and liked it! Seriously you guys, if it bugs you just don't respond. Is not like one person's opinion is SO important. You all need to puff more

Just because you see poison Ivy does not mean you should roll in it.... someone can have a run of 3 "off" shows and post without a crucifixion, I hoped. Yes, by all means cancel my IP for sure and keep thinking out loud, register your own profile to post your comments ... I'm not commenting about whats written in the post , I only skim the big post anyway , just use your own profile to say what you have to say like the rest of us so you can be replied to directly , and expect that some replies may not be to your liking at times . I don't think the account should be closed , not that what I think matters anyway and I just said that for shock value ... try to stop being so critical ... some of you are putting way too much thought into this and are looking for an out-of-body experience at every show , good luck with that ... try to stop worrying about what the crowd is up to and if the band looks happy or not , just close your eyes and listen to the music play ... peace .
