WOW THANK YOU!!!! Expected a late 80s going to the show today and walked in to see a 90s and was pretty happy with that especially once it was for sure Stranger to start which I had been feeling all day. Eaton did this amazing banging on his guitar that exploded my face and the lights went all red and everyone got way into it and then in CC Rider he fingered the heck outta his guitar and I don't usually write so graphically about such moments but these were phenomenal musical moments on that stage and to not mention it exactly how it happened would not do me well in helping you guys feel like you were there.

Getting ahead of myself! Peggy-O was just what you would expect from the best band in the land..... heartfelt yet upbeat to see us through. Really solid Althea- Jeff is taking me places I never thought existed and I like it very very much.

Desolation Row was a great surprise and they really nailed it doing every freakin line WOW haha great stuff. Bucket and don't ease were rip roaring and marvelously silly and spinning joy through and through!!!!! Delightful Loose Lucy as well!

Touch..... and at that point we were SURROUNDED BY TOUCH HEADS which at this moment in the show struck me as absolutely appropriate and we held our ground in the general front area while letting those kids do their disrespectful thing and just kept trying to show them by example how they should be acting. The chic was SCREAMING the words in my ear SO funny! (I politely told her after the show that her friends were nice but that she should pick up some respect before her next concert).

Into Saint OH MY GOSH! Was soooooo amazing the way Jeff and the front Robs were interacting once mouths were closed and instruments controlling our bodies it was one of the best moments of the night.

Ship sailed us through the troubled waters quite well and the space had a flavor of days between so much that Mango and Joseph both thought it would fall into if but gdtrfb was MUCH better (though maybe you guys could do it soon to get the flavor of the days between outta my mouth and into my dancing shoes! lol) of a selection and the band just really seemed to enjoy it.

Watchtower to warn us and a MASTERFUL Dew, truly. despite constant distractions around and the confusion of many, it didn't matter and the rest of us lost our minds dancing anyway. Mango and i had our second dance together for brokedown though it took a moment for us to fall into it and the band SOUNDED heavenly though I didn't see much of it.

You ain't woman enough was quite timely considering the loose ends I tied up tonight at set break as it had been in AZ though I don't think that got tied up in as nice a bow (talking personal life here, not the performance which was STELLAR both times lol!) and oh my goodness I had been needing Lisa all night and she finally came out and the whole room was thankful!

Cats Cats Cats down under the stars and going to bed seems silly for sure!

Desolation Row is like beauty - its own excuse for being. Those '90s setlists and what DSO does with them offer a testament to why folks here do what they do.

Thanks for the postcards, you two! See y'all soon.

OH Gosh I almost forgot one of the amusing highlights of the show.... when Barraco pulled Mattson onto the stage in slow motion and Mattson acutally made it from the door back stage all the way to his guitar in such super slow space zombie walking that I almost cried in laughter and joy...... you guys better stop geeking out up there before I go tell everyone how humbly silly and genuinely hilariously amazing you guys are.... uh oh, too late for that!!!!! Keep it up!

FYI, ustream.tv/channel has both nights of VT up en toto--each set posted separately. Here is set 1 of May 8th:

It was filmed from pretty far back, but sound is decent and you can listen to and watch the entire set with no stops!
