Forum MVP FunkyBass13 Posted May 5, 2012 Forum MVP Report Share Posted May 5, 2012 Kind of surprised that there hasn"t been one mention so far. 1st album was the 1st hip-hop album to hit #1, 2nd album changes the rules for sampling and their 3rd(arguably) started the whole combining of rock/rap as the main genre of "pop" music that it is today. Enough cannot be said about Adam's contributions to the world of music as well as looking outside of the music world to bring attention to causes that hoped to save lives and curb the abuse of people at the hands of tyrants. You will be missed. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qhWX_T1BlV4
Forum MVP found Posted May 6, 2012 Forum MVP Report Share Posted May 6, 2012 Paul's Boutique is a legendary album. MCA was a great artist and genuinely seemed like a good person. RIP
Blindman
Absolutely right Rel... You know I'm feeling this as well. A sad loss. While the DSO boards has never been a hotbed of hip hop, no question the loss to the music community is huge. And a nice guy at that. Hope all is well up in WA.
