laytonco
Hey Rob, Gil here from Denver. I saw a video of the Canyon Club show at Agoura Hills, CA on 13 April. I dont think I've ever seen you play an Ibanez Musician. Is this part of the repertoire now or a one time thing? If it's part of the tool kit now, and specific on what you like about it? Any Mods? peace!
Guest Rob Eaton
I got it in Feb. It a 1978 MC500 NT. I've had to update the circuit board on the active electronics section. I've also had to replace the master volume pot which was also not a big deal. The versatility of the EQ is something I don't have on any guitar I have on the road. The craftsman ship is outstanding on these guitars. The neck, wood, feel, weight are all spot on. It's very balanced which is important. When I first got my Vine Neck Professional I had to move the strap nut to the back so that the neck hung in a place where it felt good. I have many Ibanez guitars, most are in the 70's. Peace Rob

laytonco
Rob, You've played Weir's Cowboy Fancy I believe: do you recall the pickup heights, generally? Would you say they are set low, medium or high? How are they set on your personal one? Peace brother! Gil Colorado
