Wow...that is a beautiful song.

My bet is it has nothing to do with the song debuted in 1988 except for a single word "hill" and a soft, lilting chorus of 'believe it or not."

If that's how the '88 song was hatched, wow...did it go through a metamorphosis.

In either case...it's a fucking gorgeous song.

Wow again.

Thanks Crew for bringing it to my/our attention (!)

Glad to read people are listening. The Brokedown Palace is in traditional Hunter style, slowing it down so the tears have time to roll and the message sinks into the heart. T

here were two Bob Weir w/ Hornsby were just added from 3/31/12 and 4/1/12, haven't had a chance to listen; however, the lists look good, like Bob is getting back to what he does best, and I got to admit, I do like Hornsby's Valley Road

Love Robert Hunter.... ultimately would forgo most any band or artist....except for Mickey and Bill. Believe it! "How do you do"

He "sets you right down where you belong"

Was psyched when he played with PapaBill a couple New Years back...."more than just ashes when your dreams come true"

Can anyone confirm absolutely that Robert Hunter was not attending a DSO show in Colorado a year or so ago? ha!

Dig individual acoustic sets from Weir, Hunter, Dylan, followed by the gathering of the Bob's.

Had the one and only seizure 40 minutes into him playing Jack of Roses start to finish....."really had to move...

Second row for entire Terrapin sweet in middle 90's.

His electric Factory show way topped the most recent one I saw there....."please forget you knew my name...

Did you know that Robert Hunter wrote Ripple, Brokedown, and To Lay Me Down one after the other in one afternoon on one park bench? Is he really in England now? "Tell me true for I have no one...."

"jacks, kings, and aces.... someone get him to play out again.

Did you know that Bird Song was titled "For Janis" and that Stella Blue is about seeing her ghost in chains backstage a dead show?

Left the farm for the Terrapin Station cabin on the hill.....think I'll take a walk downtown instead"

"The window is closed but the curtain is open" and is all I can do to type to stare at DSO Fanatic's member photo up there..... "the night it too long" D-lil
