Forum MVP chuckvegas Posted April 1, 2012 Forum MVP Report Share Posted April 1, 2012 So many highlights...more, later. William Tell>Eleven was stunning. Hell, the whole show was. It started off looking like an '80s recreation and then took on a life of it's own. An interesting incredible evening...thank you all!
Forum MVP Mango Posted April 1, 2012 Forum MVP Report Share Posted April 1, 2012 After the first two tunes it seemed like it was 80s time. When Lisa came out for lazy>supp this was disconfirmed although the set continued with an 80s theme. Esau fucking rocked....I don't get how anyone could dis this song. Cc rider with Lisa on harp was really cool. Was an extra special treat to see positively fourth street. I hope they return to this one. As stated, the eleven was off the hook. The energy is high folks.

Forum MVP jfolks Posted April 3, 2012 Forum MVP Report Share Posted April 3, 2012 Wowie zowie!! Way oversold, but this show ROCKED!! Great crowd, but just too many of them!! One of the best 11s ever. Too many highlights to name! I've seen tons of shows at the Crystal (different bands, too), and this was probably the best sound I've heard in that room. I love this band and my starhead family! Great to get back at it for the weekend.
Forum MVP Island Bro Posted April 3, 2012 Forum MVP Report Share Posted April 3, 2012 I agree that the sound was much better than in the past for that space. I had such a great time at this show, and the crowd was so engaged which helps kick it up,,, I ended up doing 2nd set up front right under Lisa and Kevin and I almost feel guilty to say that we actually had a sweet amount of space to dance and flail up in there. I was always tending toward hallway dancing or at least on the outskirts back in my GD days in order to have plenty of space. But sometimes with DSO I really enjoy getting right up in there to feel more of the power and intensity...like standing under a refreshing waterfall on a really hot day---the full immersion feels soooooo good!!! The bouncing floor is also such a nice bonus to help keep ya movin and groovin at the crystal!
