DaysBetween
Seeing the recent 69-ish and early 70's-ish setlists - which are awesome looking by the way - reminded me that the last time I reviewed a show (Columbus 2/17/12) I dropped the idea of doing an entire tour of original setlists, but never came back to expand on it. I gotta minute, so... Yeah, it might go against the original concept, but I think the "Original Setlist Tour" - please make a better title for it - would dominate! My favorite shows to go to are the originials nowadays. Back in the day I prefered actual GD setlists. The band just seems to really cook each time I catch an original. Plus, people could track what's been played recently, what's due, and Setlist Lotto games would run rampant! We'd get more screaming for St.Stephen, and that's always a good thing. Years ago I clammored for original setlists in the style of a particular era, just to throw people off and, again, maybe to get more screams for St. Stephen, and now that that's happening, even a little, perhaps a 100% Original Tour Might As Well? (GD puns, love em) These Amsterdam shows weren't the first to be originals in the style of something, right? Didn't they do this a year or two ago? I'm so out of the loop hahaha. Forum MVP cm_hayden Posted March 24, 2012 Forum MVP Report Share Posted March 24, 2012 I would love to be able to catch a three set show (first-acoustic, second & third-electric).
