I got a contact very close to the Ohio Jam band "Ekoostik Hookah"

they usually play Labor Day weekend at Legend Valley (formally Buckeye Lake ... also where All Good will be this summer)....

calling that weekend... "Hookahville" ....

well I talked to him recently and "Hookahville" has been moved up a week to August 24th-26th... the band's webpage confirms it ...

and I quote "freeing up a major Dead jam band to play the Labor Day weekend"

I see nothing on any webpages to confirm but ?? .... :567:

settle down ~ all good things in all good time ~

if there is something in the works... they must still be planning it all out, finalizing band confirmations, etc... and cannot announce it yet

let's hope for the best ~ summer's comin' in and it's going out in style ~

:dsorocks:

If that is the case I hope they reach out to several other tasty acts to fill the day :)

I'd assume Keller, Donna, Mickey Hart,.... heck I can smell a nice helping of Hot Tuna even.....

Spinning with possibilities

I wish the best for this event to become reality.

Gotta' miss this one, me, wife, and a car load of teenage girls will be http://madonnaquebec.com/en/

oustide under the stars on the battlefield where the French finally settled the score with the Brits in 1759.

"It will be the biggest outdoor dance party on the Plains of Abraham in Quebec"

Sure I will bring my DSO skills to the show. Yeah!

We'll Meet You At The Jubilee

Posted on: March 08, 2012

It just wouldn’t be a DSO summer without a campout in Ohio, so we’re pleased to announce the Dark Star Jubilee, August 31-September 2, 2012, at the Legend Valley Campground (formerly the Buckeye Lake Music Center) in Thornville, OH. Our six guys and a girl will celebrate the end of summer with three nights of DSO, as well as plenty of vendors, on-site camping, and two alternating stages featuring an incredible lineup of bands, including some of our favorite Grateful Family members, all in one of the most beautiful concert settings in the U.S. Keep checking back here in the coming weeks for major artist announcements and ticket info, and get ready to shake it up with Dark Star Orchestra when we meet you at the Dark Star Jubilee on Labor Day Weekend!
