Forum MVP Tea Posted December 14, 2011 Forum MVP Report Share Posted December 14, 2011 I know, I know....it's Cosmic Charlie. While there are some of you who might think they are too JV for your discriminating ear, these guys blew it out last Saturday. Let me tell you, I have seen some pseudo-local bands playing the Dead, and they are quite a few steps beyond many of the garage bands that are out there. I really good time I tell ya. Here is what they played: Blind Tiger - Greensboro, NC 12/10/2011 Tennessee Jed > New Minglewood Blues, Candyman, Big River > When the Saints Come Marching In > Big River >Bird Song > One More Saturday Night. Set 2: Shakedown Street > Norwegian Wood tease > Shakedown Street > Casey Jones, Althea, Playing In the Band > Drumspace > Not Fade Away > Going Down the Road Feeling Bad > Wharf Rat > Playing In the Band > Sugar Magnolia E: Viola Lee Blues > Brokedown Palace Refreshingly tight. The nite before in Raleigh was very good too. Get IT where I can.......
Forum MVP Ammagamalin Crew Posted December 15, 2011 Forum MVP Report Share Posted December 15, 2011 List looks good. Glad you got in a super show. It's great we get to enjoy these jams in small clubs. Cosmic Charlie's in Lexington, KY in January should be wonderfilled also. Bring it on Dino! When was the last time anyone heard a Don't Let Go lately?
