Advisory Board Herdygerdy Posted December 8, 2011 Advisory Board Report Share Posted December 8, 2011 310 and counting 1st show @ The State Theater, Falls Church, VA 9/3/2000 100th show @ Irving Plaza, New York, NY 5/28/2005 200th show @ Ram's Head, Baltimore, MD 12/29/2007 300th show @ The State Theater, Falls Church, VA 3/11/2011 I've often wondered how much money I've spent over the last 11 years, and as I'm sure it's in the 6 digit area, it was worth every penny!!! Forum MVP August West Posted December 8, 2011 Author Forum MVP Report Share Posted December 8, 2011 are there levels, like silver, gold, platinum? Do we earn frequent flyer miles? Nevertheless, as is a frequent occurance in time travel, a general hypothesis was constructed from a few specific instances of a DSO phenomenon. Forum MVP John A Posted December 8, 2011 Forum MVP Report Share Posted December 8, 2011 A interesting follow up to this question would be - have you seen more DSO shows than Grateful Dead shows? I'm still more than 10:1 Dead to DSO, although I can't get to the exalted 300+ category even when adding JGB and Dead totals.

Without requisite obligations and the freedom that comes with youth, 318 GD/JGB over 8 years wasn't that hard to amass. I would need to sacrifice my work and my marriage (with 2 young kids) to get to this number with DSO. While some days its awfully tempting to go all in, I suspect 15 or so shows per year will be as far as I can get.......for now at least.
