franknkeene
The playing was unrushed, and every note was played with full intention. Row Jimmy ; Weather Report Suite Prelude > Weather Report Suite Part 1 > Let It Grow > Dark Star > China Doll was trance-like. The divider between the back walkway and the seats/stage is low so it offered a full view of stage with nice space to turn. Venue staff were very friendly. One elderly usher asked me not to dance on the steps. I was actually dancing on the 2nd and 3rd steps up and it understandably made her nervous. I made her laugh when I told her that for a moment I thought I was Fred Astaire. That was fun, but I complied with her request and stayed off the stairs. Another thing about this show was that I loved the first set. I'm sometimes not in-the-moment during the first set and prefer set two. Last night I was drinking up all of the single tunes, especially Roses, Tenn, and Brown. I had so many preconceived ideas about Monday night in Corcord, NH. I was absolutely WRONG! Great show and many thanks to band, crew, and fellow crowd-mates for all that you do. My far favorite of the three shows I saw this tour. Encore was a holiday ditty introduced and sung by Rob B. with with "Rudolph" and "reindeer" in the words...."Run Rudolph???" as opposed to Run Mary? ......blur.....
