Beautiful place, used to be an old barn. Perfect sound, perfect set list and a nice crowd. A bit tired at work right now with only 4 hours sleep, but show was so good I wouldn't mind if I had no sleep. Too many highlights to name.....everything incredible and fun. Can't wait to watch/listen to video from Steve and would love Rob E. to make available for download (when you have time and hard-drive is full)

Peace!

I keep trying to put up a post and keep losing it. Arrrggg. Great show after the garden party in the city. The venue is a tiny little theater, some sitting in a balcony, some to the side, the majority is open floor. I was by the sound board and couldn't have been 25 feet from the stage and that was it, nothing else other than the bar in the lobby with windows to see in. Respectful crowd, mostly local folk who came to hear the music. Quiet no typical chatter, nice.

Chimes of Freedom was a tribute to Lisa's ability to move the audience, she can sing. She and Rob. B sang Box of Rain, harmonies were beautiful. Russian Lullaby was very special. Run Mary had an intro from Rob B. about Hunter writing the words. Rob E. seemed like he was losing his voice again, but he sang his heart out in It Makes No Difference.Encore started with a funny little diddy which I think Jeff said came from Magree's Uptown Jug Band days.

So a well deserved day off today for everyone. I had a great run, and may head up to Albany to close the tour. Thank you DSO, the band, the crew, and the fans. Life would be empty if you all weren't around.

The show was eclectically awesome! Chimes of Freedom was mind blowing. Good to see the Band flexing their acoustic Chops. Solo's were AWESOME! Good to see you Rob & Jeff, thanks for your hospitality. Hope you all can make Bearsville your Acoustic Sanctuary. (next time come visit we are only 15 minutes down the road)

I must agree heartily with Gypsy Bob - AWESOME is the only word to describe this show. Jeff's chops on Russian Lullabye were unbelievably beautiful, as were Barraco's. Lisa's singing on "Chiomes of Freedom had the hair on my arms standing up - wouldn't this tune make a perfect anthem for them occupy movement? I went expecting them to cover an '80's acoustic set from The Warfield or Radio City, but this original set was a MUCH BETTER choice.

I spoke with Rob B. after the show to ask if they were gonna do another Mighty High Mountain fest this year (this venue is 15 min. from my house, all via back-roads!). He said they'd be doing 3 nights there, and when I suggested that an acoustic set might go over well there. he said "Oh, Wow! - That's s GREAT idea!"

I can't wait for Memorial Day weekend!
