If rumors are true,I have a few choices to make:

1. Watch Michigan in Orange Bowl.

2. Stepping around NJ's black snow.

3. Watching USC and Penn State in Rose Bowl.

4. Stay at Home, and moan and groan about no shows in Ann Arbor/Detroit area.

I need to check out the hotel situation by there...unless someone has a furnace I can use inside my "2" person tent.

If my memory serves me right, closest hotel is just under 2 miles away. There are definitely none in walking distance (unless you like to walk 2 miles at 2 AM in below freezing weather). Hopefully it won't be a repeat of the mess after the Keswick NYE a few years back with no available cabs and underdressed show-goers becoming hypothermic standing outside for almost 2 hours waiting for a ride. My advice- arrange your transportation well in advance or stay sober. Have fun ya'll.

well it looks like option #2 and #4 are really the only things that could happen.... but you know they do say pigs will fly someday....

This is most welcome news for me, as I live only about 25 minutes from the venue. I have not had the pleasure of attending a DSO New Years Eve show before, so I am psyched that I will finally be making it to one! The Wellmont has its flaws, but I have always had good times there, and the staff is pretty cool. The no re-entry policy, however, really sucks. Montclair is also a fun place to hang out... plenty of bars and restaurants in the neighborhood.

The cat is out of the bag....

I heard this news awhile ago ... don't have to worry about packing your suntan lotion....

I myself will be ringing in the New Years wherever Ohio State is playing its bowl game.... Pasadena ? .... Florida ? .... Tempe ?

Boise?

Yippee!! 15 shows for me in 6 weeks. Anyone know a good barrister???

No... but I do know of a halfway decent "bar" in Montclair called Eagon & Sons. They have great food, too.

15 Shows... man, am I just a bit jealous of you being able to catch that many shows in one year... let alone 6 weeks!!!
