Guest Lisacat
Beautiful day of music in Mclarren Park on Sunday! Front Street played a nice set, however I don't remember the setlist.... went something like Samson and Delilah, Scarlet>Fire, Bobby song maybe?, Hard to Handle, Let it Be (with a female lead sitting in Nicki Blume?), Terrapin, Unbroken Chain, Sugar Mag JGB Setlist was : Drumz>Bass>Expressway to Your Heart, That's Alright Mama, Love in the Afternoon, You Never Can Tell, That's What Love Will Make You Do, Sitting In Limbo, Waiting for a Miracle, Sisters & Brothers>I Hope It Won't Be This Way>Who Was John>Magnificent Sanctuary Band>Mighty High --- encore : How Sweet It Is Stu played from the beginning through Sitting in Limbo then Stu's fill in while he's out on leave for a bit (I think his name is Dave Hebert) played on Waiting for a Miracle through the end. Melvin also did a really nice introduction of Stu and Robin's baby Savannah before Waiting for a Miracle. 3000+ people cheering and showing their love was really sweet. There are a few videos up on youtube:

Forum MVP Mango Posted August 10, 2011 Forum MVP Report Share Posted August 10, 2011 I had a good time. Definitely got way too crowded by the time JGB came on but was able to bob and weave enough to have a good time. Thought that Stu's replacement sounded pretty good. When the Dead Ahead configuration played out here a couple of weeks ago, I was told he is called A-Bear - his last name, go figure. That was a grate show. They played a Harder They Come that was sublime. I'm glad you were able to take a break from Mystery!
