Love the placement of stranger and what looks to me a great Playin sandie and a BEAST of a list overall. I am sure the details will trickle in soon......Thanx to you and your 'embedded' source.

REALLY great and special show, especially the 2nd set.

The Vibes is an incredible thing to experience, whether you're going to the whole festival or just one night (as I did!).

1st set had many highlights, including a strong China/Rider, Jack Straw opener, and a rousing Around/Around to end the set.

2nd set was REALLY wonderful, from the first note of Help on the Way to Lisa's last second re-entry and triumphant wail on the Playin' Reprise.

As an admitted setlist junkie and devotee, I completely loved that set from start to finish. Thanks to whoever placed the St. Stephen post-drums/space. Wow!

All the band members played and sang incredibly well.

Jeff's playing on all of the songs continues to blow me away. A few highlights, among many, were Fire and Dew.

Lisa was dancing and twirling the whole night and her vocals and energy were greatly enjoyed and appreciated.

Even Donna was good on everything she sang, including the Scarlet/Fire transition.

Drums were strong as always and Eaton, Rob "Blow Away" Baracco and Kevin were doing their thing in truly fine form, indeed.

Still Truckin, I'm still smiling on this one!

Won't be able to say enough about the performance at the Vibes. What a rock and roll show!!!! 15k plus people hanging on every note. E.g. when dso broke into dew after alligator (JM was taunting the crowd with his jerrycaster during gator) you could hear a pin drop! The crowd was like "really? Morning dew? Not sure we can handle it after that barnburner"! I can't describe how real it was other than telling my buddy it was like a Cal Expo show. REALLY. The sound with Cotter driving the DBS ferrari was comparable to many dead shows I have seen. Simply Outstanding!!! Bryan's light show was GD caliber for sure!!

I didn't see further on friday (@ bergen pac....DUH!) but numerous friends saw both and said DSO blew them away. SHOCKER! I knew that would be the case. Made that comparison long time ago and well, it was never an issue of which band for me!!!

Thanks to band and crew for a great tour. Simply the Best.......better than all the rest!

I am predicting an earthquake in a couple days in Japan. Epicenter: Mt. Fuji !!!!!

Friends of mine went to both DSO shows in Jersey, and then to FURTHUR at the PNC in Holmdel, New Jersey on Sunday. I didn't cuz I'm just not interested. Now these dudes are all hardcore heads that have been seeing the GD, and the offshoots since the 70's. They have cred. So naturally I asked " What did you think"? since they were able to see both bands in such a short time frame. They all said it wasn't even close, that DSO was so much better, it amazed them. They described Furthurs interpretation as plodding, as compared to DSO'S delivery of the music. I'm sure that alot of folks had there eyes opened after seeing both at ALLGOOD, Vibes, and this past weekend in Jersey. I'm sorry if this rattles some cages, and some people may think it's blasphemeous but.... DSO is the BETTER band. There I said it.

DSO tore it UP Saturday night in AC !!! they just fucken rock and that's all there is to it ... , and , there is this really nice group of fans called "Starheads" that come to see DSO that I enjoy being around ... and FURHTER was fun on Sunday , it was a nice outdoor show and we had great lawn seats that were pretty center on the lower most level part of the lawn area , we ate some expensive venue food , ran into some old friends on the lot , a good time also ...
