Jerry's on his A-game here ... this song is as Dr. B says " a jewel amongst gems " ...

Yep, I was there........

If you could have Jerry come back for one night and play one song, what song would you want to see him play?

Mountains of the Moon w/ Jerry on acoustic (and TC on harpsichord of course!).

Sugaree....like it was May 19, 1977.

I say something he's never played before. I'd like to hear what he's learned from Hendrix and maybe something he's written with Lenon.

Now, that's an idea. Maybe he'd play lead in Hank Williams' band.

I was fortunate enough to catch some of this Jerry/John acoustic stuff on the west coast during the 80's ... this is one of my FAVORITES ... there's just so many songs and I know I'm flip flopping , but I'm a deadhead , so it's ok !!! B)

Too hard to decide...most evey tune that's already been mentioned would feel right...

I could also imagine Mission in the Rain being a sweet touch...

Even if there were no words to sing, I'd love to just listen to him play/explore on the guitar and communicate in that way (for like 37 minutes straight)....

And then wrap it up with Attics...

And then wade quietly together through the pool of tears that we all just shed....

yeah, there definitely isn't just one song he could possibly play that wouldn't have me longing for another...

But does anyone really expect him to be able to play a tearful Stella Blue and then an inspirational Comes a Time? Emotional overload.

I wasn't assuming you were implying he would, but just throwing the thought out there.
