You know, we really, really want to come to Quixote's again... but when we went there to see American Beauty, "Andy the bar manager" treated us (specifically, my man) soooooooooooooooo terribly that I don't think we can ever go back with a clear conscience because giving money to a place that has a manager that sees it as his duty to chase off people he doesn't "recognize" is not cool. I understand that Colorado has a pretty um, "elite" deadhead community and that many people feel like they have "enough friends" or that us "youngsters that didn't see Jerry" are all molly addicted ketamine hoarding alcoholics, but I am a GOOD lady, and my man is a GOOD guy, and we just want to do our part to help the music of the Grateful Dead live on forever, just like anyone else.

So, we are pretty sad that of all the places we could have been treated like "dirty hippies" or worse, like "wooks", it was at Quixote's where there is actually music we would drive up to see on a regular basis if this had not happened. We loved this place the handful of times we got to go before that incident, it's AMAZING, but we doubt we'll be able to go back because Andy the bar manager has shitty freakin vibes. bummer. gonna miss TN, too :(

Maybe you should let Jay Bianchi (the owner) know what happened. I doubt he would condone that type of attitude from his employees.

I 100% agree with Ed's statement. Please call Jay and tell him about your experience. (303) 297-1772

The rain held off and we finally got a shot at the outdoor stage. Way too much fun for us hacks. We even got called back for a second encore - go figure. Frank has all the great pedals, including a near mint condition Mutron III. Audio to come....maybe.
