4evergr8ful
Cany anyone tell me about rv camping? I have only tent camped in previous years but am contemplating bringing an rv for the kids this year. I can't find any info on the ledges website. Is there an additional charge? Do you have to camp behind the stage? Or can I park it in the normal campgrounds? Any help would be appreciated
Hedges
I'm next to positive there is an additional charge, but it might depend on the number of people in your RV (less = more). you do not have to camp behind the stage. if your RV can get to the spot you can camp there. Forum MVP chuckvegas Posted June 6, 2011 Forum MVP Report Share Posted June 6, 2011 I've had a little experience with it, as have sevral others here. Are you bringing your own? If not, but rather are going to be renting one for the duration, I strong recommend Neff Brothers. They are semi-local, very familiar with the Ledges/GFest situation, are extremely good people, and will take care of setting it up and taking it out for you. It makes life sweet, like a rhapsody. They have a very informative web site. As for fees, there is nothing extra as far as I know. But then I have always gone through Neff, and it may have been included in their charge. But I don't know if that is the case... However, from my experiences with bigger RVs they kept us by the area in and on the other side of the basketball courts, or going on down the road above the quarry. I don't believe I have seen anything much bigger than a smaller RV/minivan/SUV/car type vehicle back in the woods with the tent camping. If nothing else, mobility would be problematic. Forum MVP gr8fulpair Posted June 7, 2011 Forum MVP Report Share Posted June 7, 2011 yeah, i'd say a 15 footer tops, plus car and there're not many 30'+ deep camp spots - there are some, but not many. anything over that and you'll be on the back road.. just guessing. cause i'm a tent....er.. Forum MVP Teacher Matt Posted June 7, 2011 Forum MVP Report Share Posted June 7, 2011 NLQP updated their webpage today... RV cost is $60 .... unless you have 4 or more people than it is $10 Cars are $10 no matter what.... cost is $95 if bought online early.... $105 at gate.... $85 for 2 days ... $65 for the last day... $10 extra for each day you arrive early.... BUT I WOULD STILL CALL AHEAD TO VERIFY PRICES !!!
