rowe
Am pretty tired and need to get some rest before the alarm goes off at 5:45! I'll just say it was a wonderful night of music. The band worked off some acoustic rust early, but was in full stride by Jack-a-Roe. From then on it was a night to remember. The Flying Monkey is a GREAT venue..really fun, loose vibe. The first set is from memory, so there may be some errors in the order of things. Second set I did write down....soooo many tunes! Acoustic Elective Sold Out Set One Oh Boy Rosalee McFall The Race is On Jack-a Roe Monkey and the Engineer Lazy River Road Big Iron Cocaine Blues Operator Chimes of Freedom Duprees (69 version) Mountains of the Moon Cassidy Set Two Deep Elem Blues On the Road Again Rockin Pnuemonia (Lisa on gazoo) California Earthquake This Will Be The Last Time Overseas Stomp Bobby McGee The Thrill is Gone It Makes No Difference Cumberland >Friend of the Devil >Cumberland Silver Threads and Golden Needles Bird Song Hey Jude Encore: Katie Mae (Rob B on solo guitar) Walk in the Sunshine Ripple Hard to know where to begin with highlights....The whole second set really. Bird Song was absolutely monstrous. Cumberland>FOTD>Cumberland took the roof off. Thrill is Gone, Katie Mae, Makes No Difference..really the whole show was great. Thanks DSO. You never cease to amaze me.
Guest Lisacat
what a sweet setlist. I don't miss the east coast one bit, but I do miss getting these special elective setlists....
