11/30/1973 Boston Music Hall.

BOOM!

First song, first set: Morning Dew. I told the people I was with that, okay I am going home now.....my "vessel" is completely FULL - I don't need anything else - but I stayed.

The dance floor in the lobby had pristine sound, cool air conditioning....and can you believe it -> a view of the stage! Heaven! the EYES was absolutely heaven.

I love this band! Their work is such a gift!!!!

filler: Cats Down Under the Stars

Gotta' get the wife up now and the daughter to her best friend's house for a 2 night sleepover....heading to Hampton Beach and then the Whites!!!

For a period of time that Here Comes Sunsine, WRS>Dark Star>Eyes>Sugar Mag from Dick's Picks 14 was my favorite. I haven't listened to it for a while so I'm not so sure anymore. But I'm still jealous.

What a fantastic set list! Another show I so wish I could have been to. It is so interesting to me how stylistically different 1973 is from 1972. 73 definitely one of the really stellar years. This particular show--Dew opener, Loser, epic Playin and the entire second set from WRS prelude on just otherworldly! Hope this one makes it up on archive.org 'cause I really want to hear it. My appetite is surely being whetted for Saturday at Mighty High!!

my, oh my, how delicious!!!!!!! 2nd set WRS always makes me wish I was there! must have been a stellar show!

with all the marvelous video posts lately we are starting to deeply mourn our inability to stream/download with our internet here.... should be a crime to charge for unstreamable internet, these days.

so grateful for everyone who lets everyone know what has just been played.... makes for excellent late night mood boosting :)
