This show was incredibly good. I cant post the setlist on my phone so someone else will have to. First set highlights 'hard to handle' and 'dancin in the streets'...sick jams. Just the warm up. They did the acoustic set like it was part of the first set with only a few minute break. Barraco playing no organ, just clave and shaker. First time for me seeing the band in this format. Maybe first for anyone....set closed wih barraco on stage by himself playing acoustic guitar and singing 'katie mae'(?). This was really a treat....RB, well done sir.

Second set was straight up off the hook psychedelic awesomeness. This was definitely my favorite 69/70 show ive seen yet, even without a dark star(maybe tomorrow...). Lovelight was pretty much whats its all about, i completely soiled every layer of clothing on me with sweat. Gross, i know, but i wasnt the only one.

To top it off proper the filler was st stephen-eleven-midnight hour.

Sick.

As good as it looks on paper, it was better in person. I was very impressed with how the band captured that intangible sound of the era. Hard to Handle and the Other One were outstanding. The acoustic stuff was great. Now I'm really looking forward to Sunday.

Rob - very nice job on Katie Mae. You may have been nervous, but it certainly didn't show.

A fantastic show. I'll be there for the second night also. St. Stephen - great filler. And the best part...

And I mean, the absolute best part....

NO DYLAN TUNES!!!

Yes, exactly my thoughts when I read the setlist- especially this part- China Cat Sunflower > I Know You Rider, Hard To Handle, Dancing In The Streets.

Thank god there were no dylan tunes to fuck that up.

Also worth mentioning, Lisa came out during the encore songs. It would've been nice to have her there the whole time of course, but it was great to hear and see her up there.

While I whole-heartedly agree that more Lisa = more good, your distaste for Dylan is.......well.......let me put this nicely......CRAP. That said, you are entitled to your crap just as I am entitled to mine. Your crap smells though....wipe it away.
