Guest bigheck
Can anyone tell me if there is a story to the guitar Jeff is now playing? I seem to remember the guys on The Dead channel on Sirius saying it is one of Jerry's,from the early 70's.
Forum MVP Evangeline Posted May 9, 2011 Forum MVP Report Share Posted May 9, 2011 Can anyone tell me if there is a story to the guitar Jeff is now playing? I seem to remember the guys on The Dead channel on Sirius saying it is one of Jerry's,from the early 70's. Jeff plays two "Mattsoncasters" or "Jerrycasters," one is ice blue with a white pick guard and one is transparent deep blue over a maple flame wood grain. The second of the two has a midi. The first is a strat body with all electronics done by Brad Sarno of Sarno Solutions, and the second is a Warmouth Guitar start body with Sarno again doing the electronics. Hre is a little more info: rukind.com. And neither one of these guitars was every Jerry's. Just Jeff's.
Muddy Waters
The first is a strat body with all electronics done by Brad Sarno of Sarno Solutions Shout out to Brad who is another St. Louis tentacle to the Band...Great guy and outstanding musician who can be seen playing with his partner Auset around town... Brad sat in a few years ago during the Post JGB set when Eaton could not make it to St. Louis.. Love to see that guy again in a fleshed out rock band...One of the more talented guys in a town full of top shelf players....
