Forum MVP found Posted April 20, 2011 Forum MVP Report Share Posted April 20, 2011 Well there is only 20 minutes left in Bicycle Day here on the east coast but better late than never. I always thought this holiday was overshadowed by 4/20 but Bicycle Day is special to many people including deadheads, so thank you Albert Hoffman for your great contribution to this world. Forum MVP VincentPuleo Posted April 20, 2011 Forum MVP Report Share Posted April 20, 2011 Indeed... Bicycle Day is overshadowed by today... I'd argue that participating in the former would be of greater benefit to ones self then toking all day long.

Thank you good Dr. for all you have done to open up the doors of perception. Your contribution to society can not be measured.
Octal
I heard someone say "4/20 eve." I had to correct them to "Bicycle day." Yet 4/20 and Bicycle day are vastly different--and it's good that way. The people who celebrate 4/20 often aren't "getting it" anyway.

I said the majority of them don't get it anyway. 4.20 is just another day to a serious smoker. Its a holiday for college and high school kids that don't really smoke anyway. They need an excuse to partake.
