Love this Filmore run and expect the band had a blast playing this particular offering. Something tells me that the NFA>GDTFB>NFA was spirited. Just a hunch. Oh yeah....I almost forgot: :dsorocks:

What a great night!! The band was obviously having fun and there was plenty of dancing space, not packed in like sardines. Some personal highlights were Hard to handle, The Rub, Morning Dew (duh) and the extended Good Lovin' with Barraco rapping about business men. The band earned their pay last night with that marathon show. Thanks so much!!

Can't wait to see what the next two nights have in store...

this show was exactly what I needed! (isn't it always?) drove about 5 hours to get there and 3 of those hours were thru the finest CO weather, cold rain and snow, indeed! and of course the whole time I am being paranoid and prolly goin slower than I had to (still a southern bird @ heart), I was thinking about that song, and when they played it my heart got really happy. I wore my girlie morning dew shirt that day, which NEVER brings me the song, but I suppose some kind of stars were aligned properly, and it opened the second set. Was great to hear hard to handle after we had to leave Eaton's American Beauty show during that song a few weeks ago and I needed it pretty bad, and was not disappointed.

I LOVE me n bobby mcgee, but it was when they got to the rub that I got REALLY excited ;) I could watch Rob B do Pigpen raps all freakin' night, man, and the rub is a song that makes me giggle no matter what, and getting to dance to it just left me ridiculously happy :) And, of course, his good lovin rap was phenomenal with the biz man dollar and a quarter rap, def can't get enough of this! I love FOTD from 71, I think this is about when I started to realize what year it had to be, cause DSO just knows how to show you with the way they play the song, regardless of the equipment on stage or the setlists, the music sure tells you the answer.

Sing me back home was breathtaking, Jeff is starting to melt my heart on a regular basis, so soulful! I greatly appreciate him handing me a setlist after the show (I accidently deleted my first set I was taking in my phone and was able to restore all but FOTD from memory with only 3 slightly mixed up in order, which was a rewarding experience to have at my 30th show to assure myself that I do indeed know a lil something about this music, and I have indeed been to a few shows. And getting the setlist from these guys for my 30th show for the 3rd time meant a lot! Thanks Jeff!!

Even met some nice kids that let me crash at their super nice hotel suite, turns out they were the same kids that got Joseph a ticket for the show that night (small world, hehe) so even leaving the show to see snow falling much to hard for ME to drive at night in (with my brights on bc one headlight is out, but that one brighter light makes it impossible to see thru the snow) I had a safe place to stay on my first night at DSO without my man since my very first DSO show ever (as he was at least AT the others I saw bf we got together lol) and that just topped off an already heavenly night.

The venue was wonderful, I had a huge area to dance in right up front in my spot and THIS is one of the MANY reasons I will always go see to DSO as much as possible- you just can't beat having SPACE to dance to the best music in the world. Thanks for a great show, guys!
