Forum MVP anddave Posted March 24, 2011 Forum MVP Report Share Posted March 24, 2011 With camping season here and GFest looming I find that over the winter I have forgotten to fix the split-and-broken bendy pole that gives that all-important third dimension to my tent. I googled up Tent Pole Technologies and got my made-to-order shock-cord poles on the way in a trice and for a reasonable fee that is way less than a new tent. The hardest part was measuring them. Since many here camp and can appreciate the value of keeping that ol' tent going for a few more seasons, I thought you might appreciate the tip. Forum MVP anddave Posted March 28, 2011 Author Forum MVP Report Share Posted March 28, 2011 I probably should have said they are aluminum poles so not as easily fixed with a kit unless you like deburring aluminum. Also it's a backpack tent with numerous short sections meaning lots of deburring. Poles arrived today perfectly sized, perfectly made, and higher quality aluminum than the originals. TPT is AOK, and that is all I have to say about that.
