sgrmag2564
Check this out...Our local Botanical Gardens has a nesting pair of Wild Bald Eagles high up in one of their pine trees. One of the Eaglets hatched Friday and the other 2 are expected to hatch soon. If you can't get there thru this link, it is on www.wvec.com. Forum MVP cm_hayden Posted March 16, 2011 Forum MVP Report Share Posted March 16, 2011 Amazing view of nature, what's also interesting is that there are insects already in VA.

Forum MVP FunkyBass13 Posted March 30, 2011 Forum MVP Report Share Posted March 30, 2011 At our last house, we have an eagles nest in a tree about 30-40 yards from our back deck. Every year for like 5 years, we got to see two beautiful bald eagles soaring around the houses. I'll tell you one thing, the small animals in the area sure were quite when the eagles were around. It was great watching them fly from Lake Washington with a fish, back to the nest to feed the little ones.
Forum MVP cm_hayden Posted April 15, 2011 Forum MVP Report Share Posted April 15, 2011 If you get lucky enough to catch feeding time, it's quite the show (selfishness isn't just a human trait).
Forum MVP Evangeline Posted April 15, 2011 Forum MVP Report Share Posted April 15, 2011 I've been enjoying a peek or two each day. Boy, you can see how one of those eaglets is so much bigger and more dominent than the other two. I look forward to seeing them fly. Anyone know about when I can expect this little miracle?
