stillrockinout
Caught this show in Richmond last week, this band is hot...... Very small venue, Capital Ale Club, about 100 people in attendance. The band played like they were at MSG or Red Rocks. Great show, big highlight was a super long "Shady Grove" jam. Too much fun for a Wed. nite. Got to bed at 1:15 am / alarm went off at 5:30 / nooooooooooooooo!!!!!! Peace, Bob
Forum MVP chuckvegas Posted February 22, 2011 Forum MVP Report Share Posted February 22, 2011 There are some folks here who have been fans of this band for quite some time. A few have even traveled to see them. Their hearts are as big as their talent. Never easy on this side.
Pugdog
Yeah, cornmeal brings IT wherever they go. I saw them a month or so ago in Fort Worth, TX (also maybe 50-100 in attendance) and they played their hearts out...Nice to hear em bust out "They Love Each Other" It was great seein em with DSO in Atlanta a few years back...ahhh, memories. Anywho, here's a link to a recording of their Ft. Worth show...they cover some nice ground. Kinda have that String Cheese Incident fusion of sounds at times but with perhaps a lil more direction in the jams...very fine indeed! http://www.archive.org/details/cornmeal2011-01-15 The Fox!
