Goode Filler: Second that Emotion Last Fillmore West show Found this excerpt from LST on Setlist.net "On July 2, the Dead played their last show at the Fillmore West, and although they played so poorly they asked not to be in Graham's film Last Days of the Fillmore (their resistance drove Graham crazy, until eventually they relented and allowed him to have one song), they did realize one ambition, which was to get Bill Graham high on LSD. It was fun for him, too. When he realized the source of his giddiness, he looked at the band and cracked up. Someone handed him a stick, Bill hit the gong, and in "one of the dozen great nights of my life," he conducted the Dead "and probably lovingly made an ass of myself."" Being that I haven't actually been to any of these shows, but have been paying close attention to setlists, I have to say that this tour has been one of the strongest in a long time as far as the setlists chosen (the Atlanta show!) , as well as the electives. All the electives have at least 2 Jerry Band tunes- so sweet to see mixed in there. A couple song debuts- even one for Lisa also great to see. Keep it coming.
