Forum MVP Vortex Posted February 2, 2011 Forum MVP Report Share Posted February 2, 2011 I'm surprised noone from Born Cross Eyed didn't sit in as special guest. Someone from BCE played with DSO all night... Sporting the Born Cross Eyed colors as well... http://s993.photobucket.com/albums/af56/PuzzlingEvidence/DSO%20Jan2011/?action=view¤t=IMG_3129A.jpg
topher44
This setlist does look great, and I am glad the band has finally re-created a 1970 show in it's entirety !!! I am a bit jealous of the folks who made it to this performance, and I seriously hope there was at least one taper who may help the rest of us out by uploading the recording to Archive. 1970 was definitely a transitional year for the Dead, and it would be very cool for DSO to dig up some more tasty shows from this period and unleash them on us. Some favorites of mine are the Fillmore East shows from 2/11-2/14 (of course!), the Fillmore West show on 6/7, another classic Fillmore East show on 9/20, and the fantastic Halloween performance at SUNY Stonybrook. The band seemed to be having a real good time, too! Hope to see more 1970 shows, too! Thank you for a real good time~
