Forum MVP Evangeline Posted December 7, 2010 Forum MVP Report Share Posted December 7, 2010 I believe it was an acoustic show. I so wish I could have been there! Some of my absolutely favorite stuff.
Guest Lisacat
I have a whole lot more to say about the shows this weekend but will gather my thoughts first..... but I thought I would mention that Lisa sang on the 8/5/70 part as well! I'm totally down with Lisa singing on everything regardless of whether Donna was there or not. It was really nice to see her on the stage for the whole show. Oh, and that Strange Man. The crowd went absolutely nuts.

I love seeing the guys on stage with their jaws dropped while she sings. I don't know how long the crowd was cheering but it seemed to go on and on forever. IMO, Lisa Mackey is this band's secret weapon. No other GD music playing band has ANYONE like her. People go wild when she solos.

Last tour DSO had the online vote for the encore. I cast my vote for Strange Man every show I went to. Unfortunatly it didn't ever make it. topher44
The whole setlist looks amazing, and I would consider myself lucky had I been there. I, too, absolutely LOVE Lisa's versions of "Strange Man", from the first show I heard her do it in back in 2004, to more recent ones. She really gets into the role, and her emotions take control of the lyrics, making you feel that she had just experienced the joy and frustration of the story teller. I certainly hope Mr. Eaton will include this show on future Nugs releases. Topher
