All Good Or Gratefulfest?

This summer I'd really like to go to one of these festivals. Both are about the same distance away, but Gratefulfest is only like 10 miles further. However, Gratefulfest is much cheaper and seems like more of an intimate festival than All Good. I know this is really early to be thinking about summer festivals (maybe it's not) but I'd just like some input. From your experience, what would you recomend?

NLQP is my favorite place in the world. I think it would be much more accessible for a first-time festival goer. It is definitely quite intimate and friendly, and it also benefits from the atmosphere of "no corporate" vending. The place is just a great getaway. Highest recommendations.

It is never to early to plan/ponder/prepare/dream, and if you ask the question, you know the answer...

I've seen that video before. I've been watching all kinds of videos and reading a bunch about both festivals. I'm most likely gonna go with Gratefulfest. The Ledges seems like an amazing place, and from what you guys have been saying it sure seems that way.

Once you go, it'll become your favorite and most coveted tradition.

I would say gratefulfest based off of my own personal experiences. I've been to 3 gratefulfests and 4 allgoods. If GD music is what your into, gratefulfest is certainly the place to be. However, I would advise you attend both festivals and develop your own opinion. Some people like bigger festivals w more eclectic line-ups. Others know DSO play GD music is what they want to hear in a beautiful intimate setting.

I know you've made your decision, but I just have to put in my two cents. I did both this year and I can say that I'm never going to All Good again. Like Rick said, some people like bigger festivals, but I just couldn't handle the kids. I'm used to hanging out with trained professionals.

I am a festival connoisseur and Gratefulfest is my favorite. Nothing beats camping in the shade, lounging on the beach, jumping in the water and listening to some awesome music.

All Good was hot, sweaty, crowded, huge, and you can't drink your own beverages at the music. Lame. Come to GratefulFest. Bring a cooler, a bathing suit and a hoop. You'll be just fine.

Hey Bob, I thought you would chime in on this one. I'd like to chat with you on this year's festivities. Looks like I might have a couple more buds joining this year, not sure yet tho. We can fit 4 in that pop-up if we need to. Maybe we will be mistaken for FBI this year...lol

Peace,

Joe
