iJah420
No Green Grass of Home. It was Big Iron. The reason there was no dancing was due to structural weakness of the floor. Very old opera house. Sound was spectacular. Great energy. All the band and crew had a great time! RB A VERY Special night indeed Rob. Good to know you and the band enjoyed the venue. The sound was Stellar. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts and souls. AMAZING! WE LOVE DSO!!!!! THANK YOU. Safe Travels and good health. redeyedbert
Marty Robbins - El Paso, and Big Iron Green Grass of Home was written by Claude Putman, Jr, and was made famous by the country singer, Porter Wagoner back in the mid 60's I believe... Huh. The reason I said Green Grass of Home in my setlist was because Jeff said something about it after Big Iron. I couldn't make it all out (clearly), but after Big Iron he asked did anybody know that song? I didn't though it seemed familiar. And I swear he said something about Marty Robbins and something about the Green Grass of home. Clearly I heard it wrong.

Has DSO ever done Green Green Grass before? Fun Marty Robbins Fact-- Did you know that he was also a part time nascar driver? I saw his driving suit on display at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville. He never won a race.
