Guest Ammagamalin Crew
Jim and Jesse McReynolds were one of my favorite bluegrass bands for years. Jesse plays the banjo like you've never seen/heard. This halloween show will let everyone know one of the best banjo players on the circuit. Cudos to DSO for bringing him to the stage. Should be a hell of a show!

I must say , I was not familiar with the McReynolds prior to seeing them added as a special guest , I have since purchased the "Songs Of The Grateful Dead" cd ...very much enjoying it and am looking forward to exploring more of the earlier works..I would highly recommend checking them out if not otherwise hip to them already ...thank you DSO for yet another musical introduction..great call! Guest Ammagamalin Crew
I think I may be wrong in my recollection. It's been 15-16 years since saw Jim and Jesse and now I think Jesse may be a mandolin player and a "McClane" was their banjo player. Either way, it's going to be nice to have some bluegrass accompianment with DSO. Hunter has spent some time in Nashville writing with Jim Lauderdale, maybe he will show up as a surprise guest?
