SeanAY
10/26 - Robert Randolph and the Family Band 11/3 - Yonder Mountain String Band 11/11 - Medeski Martin & Wood All three of those shows at the State Theatre in State College, PA (Penn State, essentially...DSO was just there in July). MM&W also in Pittsburgh on 11/13. Any PA Starheads up for the weeknight shows?
Dancer'sChoice
I can't make it to the Randolph show, but I will definitely be there for YMSB. They were fantastic last year. Not 100% sure on MM&W, although I'd love to get to that one. I've never seen them before, and everyone tells me it's a real treat. Additionally, if you don't mind a bit of a drive, Cabinet is playing Williamsport on Friday, Oct. 8. That's only about an hour up the road from State College. SeanAY
Yeah, he's coming to Pittsburgh around that same time...wow, apparently I'll have to ration the $$$ pretty strictly! Anyway, it looks like I'll definitely be at Robert Randolph, and I still want to do Yonder...it all depends on if this grad class can get blown off. Totally want to do MM&W. And unfortunately I'll be out of town with work on Oct. 8, so unless I can find some good tunes in Albany, NY that weekend I'm out of luck. I must have missed you at the DSO show in July. PM me when the time comes for YMSB, we'll grab a brew at Zeno's.
