On the way to the show yesterday Ripple came on my pod shuffle and I said maybe I'll hear this later. Stephen said no way we are getting an early 70"s show. I said well maybe the filler. Again he said not tonight. Well I showed him didn't I. Ripple filler in place of a no encore shore.

Amazing night of music so many tunes. Loved Comes A Time and Good Lovin, ( the rap by RB was great, "sometimes she calls me daddy..."). The drums in the beginning of these early Good Loving's are so powerful boom boom bbbb boom bbbb booom, thank you Dino. Kevin's bass wass shaking my bones. Eaton was a mad man. Lisa sang her heart and soul out. Jeff is so sweet I feel like he's playing right to me, Jerry use to make me feel that way.

Technical difficulties at beginning of second set Jeff's monitor wasn't working. Nick seemed a bit frazzeled but never skipped a beat and the problems were solved. I hung beside Sara doing the lights last night during part of the second set. I do believe there is an artist emerging. To intuit the sound and replicate it in lights is simple amazing. The sound was great everywhere I went, never made it upstairs which may have been the best.

Venue was small neighborhood was funky. Hot and stuffy no air. After the show there was allot going on in the streets.

I do love the Palace Theater....

Isn't this a little close to 5/26/72?

You guys should be careful with this stuff.

Someone could get hurt.

You called it David. That's what went down in Albany. They're not messing around. Hopefully there were no casualties.

WOOWEE! Fuckin' spectacular.

First set highlights were the China>rider, Good Lovin that Rob B slayed, and cosmic Playin in the Band. Brokedown and Casey Jones just happened to be an extra nice icing on the cake to end the set. Thought that set would never end.

Second Set really got cooking during UJB but the first four songs were all performed well. Wharf Rat... probably the best I've seen. Dark Star, very exploratory. Hit some really strong grooves but also got very spacey and out there. It went up, down, and all around. A journey of epic proportions. Sugar Mag was pumpin with an fiery SSDD. Comes a Time was so poignant and powerful. My hairs were on end the entire time. SOTOTW, GDTRFB, and OMNS were on fire. Everyone in the crowd was dancing their asses off. The band was completely unstoppable. A true powerhouse. That was raging ending to a marathon show. Ripple was a fitting ending.

The band looked like they were having the time of their life. How long did they play for? 3 hours 45 minutes, 4 hours maybe. Sheeeesh.

I liked the venue except the no re-entry. Stayed upstairs for the first set had good dancing room. Went downstairs for the second set and some people started clearing out a bit because it was getting late so that meant more room for me. Just an amazing time overall. Very grateful to be there and share the experience with some great people.
