Looks like an original setlist, that Blow away in the 2nd leads me to believe late 80's or 90's but something is telling me orig!

Wow Herdy has been getting lots of love lately! what was that 2 Esaus in 2 months?

Its not often you have two set breaks in one show...dso, thanks for coming to wilmington..:)

my brother in law and sister attended tonight. Gregg thought this was the best GD Music - to include furthur and the many dso shows with jk he has seen. thought that was really cool...

I was surprised to hear that Sarah was filling in for brian on lights..she did a great job and it was noticed by all :)

peace

Looks a lot like a late 1989 early 1990 but I don't remember the GD closing a second set with Scarlett>Touch. I also see I shall be released 2x and I am almost certain we didn't even see it once in 89 or 90 whether an original or not, it sounds like yet another smoker from the band....

Great show!

The band really seemed to pick it up once we returned from the fire drill.

Someone was smoking in the bathroom and set off the alarm......dumbass

There was like a new energy and excitement in the room.

They restarted Loose Lucy and it had a really great groove to it.

The Help>Slip>Frank to end the first set was smokin'.

The Eyes in the second set was one the best (and fastest) eyes I have ever heard.

Jeff and Eaton were just feeding off eath other. Great stuff.

In fact, the entire pre-drums second set was stellar.

LOVED the venue. Great sound and a beautiful place.

Thanks DSO! I danced my ass off!

It was an original. If Lisa's mike is onstage and the organ is onstage then it's an original....it's as easy as that.

Or if the initial poster of the set list uses the word "elective" before listing the songs.

Or if there's a Push to Shove and Loose Lucy in the same set.

Or an Esau and Easy to Love You.

Or a.... :)

Or when both the big drums and Lisa are on stage.....

I always love overhearing the setlist debates when it is blatently obvious its an elective. And I think the band almost stumps people even more when it is obvious- that is when I hear the most "its gotta be 19XX". People usually will go for the earlier years too... "No that's definitely 71" just after hearing brown-eyed women into stir it up.

I guess the neophytes will always be a source of amusement to the more experienced.

A song the Dead never performed is a pretty good tip off as well. :D

I thought CRAS and Minglewood brought some good energy to the beginning of the show. The band really picked up the pace after the fire alarm evacuation which was just silly. Loose Lucy the second time through was pretty good. Cassisy and Help on the Way>slipknot>franklins were smoking. I didn't see that helpslip coming. Was a huge way to end the set and greatly appreciated by all.

Blow Away was Rob B doing Brent at his best. He was feelin it! Ooofta. Estimated>Eyes was spectacular. Jeff turned that Eyes inside out. There were certain points in the drums section that really impressed me. I shall be released is one of my favorite JGB songs and Jeff did a great job with it. Watchtower had some good energy. Scarlet was grooving and I was hoping for Fire but Touch had to suffice.

Good show, interesting venue. Glad to be there.
