Forum MVP FunkyBass13 Posted August 30, 2010 Forum MVP Report Share Posted August 30, 2010 Davy cetainly brings it. Very nice SMR. Different but still very familiar. You can find more of his stuff all over YouTube and his band, Backdoor Slam, is constantly touring. I would highly recommend seeing a show. neutrino
Davy Knowles....I'm impressed with this bluesy take on SMR... Cortez the Killer Very nice! Here's another cover of Cortez by a couple of amazing talents--Dave Rawlings and Gillian Welch I would highly recommend everybody to catch them if they are playing in your area. They are fantastic! 4evergr8ful
I saw the Rhythm Devils a few weeks ago in Pittsburgh and they killed it! It was a different experience for sure, very low attendance, no drinking or smoking in the building, etc. But the band was amazing. That Davy kid is something else. He has his own sound without butchering the classics. We actually got to talk to him a little after the show and he was so nice and humble and soft-spoken. And he's pretty easy on the eyes too! Dancin' Fool
Our show in Foxborough (Showcase Live) got canceled due to "Hurricane Earl". I was oh so excited to see them up close, unlike at Vibes. Oh well, ya know what the old folks say!! See ya in Lowell!!!
