BigDad
From Dead.net... Our friends The San Francisco Giants are stepping up big time on Monday, August 9th, and joining Dead Heads everywhere as they pay homage to the 15th anniversary of Jerry's passing and face the Chicago Cubs at AT&T Park. All fans attending that night's game will be treated to pre-game performances from Grateful Dead cover bands, a very special home plate ceremony, video tributes and plenty of other surprises.Annabelle Garcia is set to throw out the game's traditional first pitch, Bob Weir, Phil Lesh and Jeff Pehrson will perform the National Anthem, and Mickey Hart and Bill Kreutzmann will attempt to set an official Guinness World Record for the world's largest kazoo ensemble, by leading some 9,000 kazoo-playing fans in "Take Me Out To The Ball Game." Truly a celebration not-to-be missed! I'm sure that more than 9,000 fans will be at the game. Maybe they only have 9,000 kazoos to give out. Ought to sound really funny/good tho.
