Forum MVP Tea Posted February 4, 2015 Forum MVP Report Share Posted February 4, 2015 Sticking with early '80's.... 3.28.81 Gruga Halle > Essen, Germany One of my favorite Altheas of all time and this Shakedown is a monster - Great show! Even Pete Townsend gets in on the act for NFA although he stays in his lane as he is the guest here. https://archive.org/details/gd81-03-28.fm.hanno.3306.sbefail.shnf

Forum MVP Mango Posted February 4, 2015 Forum MVP Report Share Posted February 4, 2015 I appreciate your passion and that you share. I'm listening to DSO at Wallingford with chimenti and BARRACO ON BASS. I wasn't at this show but it's one of my favorites to listen to. Rob is an amazing bass player!! Love it. The dark star in particular really showcases his adventurous and creative style. I love Skip but this particular version of the band works for me!!! Forum MVP John A Posted February 5, 2015 Forum MVP Report Share Posted February 5, 2015 One of my favorite Altheas of all time... I listened to 2/19/91 (The New Speedway bust out) recently and while I recall a strong Althea I was nonetheless floored! Also, don't miss the Cassidy jam which is right before the 1st set closing Speedway. Not sure if the Schoeps tape is online but it's a great one.
