I have never seen (or is it "saw") a cop on the beach (cud be I'm oblivious at that point) after a show as i typically melt at the ocean's edge until about 2. Also, I don't remember seeing any ~before~ any show, although no doubt after. The beach and town are much better prior to the on-peak mid June, the sea-side shops, arcades, etc.... I mean, we got the hotel for the sake of staying out of trouble! I'd hate to do something stupid like have a beer / take a puff on the beach and screw up everything!! I'm too old to get into that kind of trouble, but I still like to have my fun!! Cops on bikes are like stealth aircraft-they're upon you before you know it. WATCH YOUR STEP IN HAMPTON BEACH .. don't do anything out in public .... especially in the massive public parking lot behind the venue... they have even given hard times to members of DSO and there bus... ENJOY THE TOWN.. ENJOY THE BEACH.... AND OF COURSE ENJOY THE SHOWS....but you can't do that in the pokey... The Venue is one of the best on the east coast... so make sure you make it in... Hampton Beach is quite frankly a white-trash shithole, full of drunken bikers and nascar fans. The police crack down on just about anything unusual, trying to keep it at least safe if not respectable. Great venue inside though. no .... really it is .... I live here! I've seen about 7 shows at this venue and always B-lined to the waters edge after every one of them. This weekend, I hung around the venue afterwards and paid more attenetion to what people were saying (which caught me by surprise, because now I realize I was indeed oblivious by the waterside before this weekend).
