Was living in CO at that time and drove back East that summer for the Philly/NYC/DC run and this was a barn burner. Seems we had about 85,000 packed into Giants Stadium. Amazing testament to the music that Jerry was in probably the roughest shape of his life and the band was at their absolute peak of popularity.
