Forum MVP VincentPuleo Posted April 29, 2010 Author Forum MVP Report Share Posted April 29, 2010 ah, yes... it's rare to find a collection this detailed. One thing that I thought was awesome... on one of the comments in the middle of that album someone who was there said something like this... "This is what I remember at sound check... ABB came on stage, played a song, messed with some knobs, played another, then left. The Band came on stage, played a song, messed with some knobs, played another, then left. Grateful Dead came on stage, played a song, messed with some knobs, played another, and another, and another, and another... occasionally Bobby would say "Remember, this is just a test!" and then they played some more." Guest jazz-man
Nice pictures, that looks totally fun! Who amongst us wouldn't like to take that that ride again? I lived on Long Island at the time but for me to go would have meant running away from home and an APB on my ass. I wasn't brave enough to push those boundaries.
